How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home, with parents who exemplified Christ, and taught the truth of God’s Word without compromise. The Lord, in His grace, pursued my sinful heart at a young age, and I remember coming home from Awana’s at about 5 years old, telling my Dad I wanted to repent of my sin and live for Jesus. My understanding of God’s grace in light of my sinful heart has only grown in following Him. He spared me from so much garbage in the world, while showing me my natural inclination to rebel apart from His sanctification! I praise God for His mercy in “calling me out of darkness, and into His Marvelous Light!”
How I came to Harvest Upon graduating from Liberty University in December 2008, my wife and I began to pray for a job at a church that stood firm on God’s Word. I knew of Harvest Bible Chapel, and its stance on the truth and its high priority on Worshiping Jesus. When the fellowship pointed us to Harvest in Granger, which was about to launch, we visited Indiana on the 3rd Sunday of it’s existence. Through the cold weather, an interview process, and prayer, the Lord made it clear this was where we were to faithfully go and serve.
What I do at Harvest I get to Pastor our worship volunteers, as well as help make Harvest a place that lifts the name of Jesus loudly, passionately, and in spirit and truth!
Why I do what I do According to John 4:23-24, God is looking for those who will worship Him in spirit and truth. I am passionate, and dedicated to equipping and leading God’s people to become the Worshipers that He is seeking. My heart, and desire is to see the Church produce passionate, contagious worshipers who seek to glorify God alone!
