How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ I was raised in a Catholic home and taught about God. As a child, when I would do wrong, my mother would tell me that my wrongdoing put a black mark on my soul. It bothered me that I knew how to wash my hands and how to wash my face, but not how to wash my soul. When I was 13, I was invited to an evangelistic drama and heard the Gospel clearly presented. It was right then that I understood that it was Jesus’ sacrifice and blood that washed my sin-soaked soul, and I was saved.

How I came to Harvest In 1996, after a 5-year period of depression and darkness resulting from the sudden loss of my father, I was at the end of myself. I cried out to God and said, “I don’t know how to come back to you, God, but I want to…so HELP ME!” I opened the phone book and looked to find a church close to home. Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows, Illinois was it! I attended one Sunday and my life has never been the same. After 17 years at “Big” Harvest, my husband and I made the decision to move to Indiana to be near family. Coming to Harvest Granger was a no-brainer!

What I do at Harvest I am the Executive Assistant to Pastor Trent and Pastor Nathan. It’s an incredible blessing to serve God in this capacity. I am humbled by the opportunity God has given me to serve His Kingdom alongside such an amazing group of believers, volunteers and staff.

Why I do what I do I exist to bring glory to my Savior! It’s a privilege to be able to use my gifts and talents as a staff member at Harvest – it’s all about Jesus!
