8/25-/8/26 — Small Group Leader Retreat More Info

8/30 — Fall Kick Off

THE MISSION
Harvest Students exists to Glorify God by making disciples of the next generation.
THE VISION
To disciple students to become well informed,
mission-minded adults that are servant leaders in their spheres of influence.

WHAT TO EXPECT

7th-12th grade meet Wednesdays from 6:45-8:30pm in Cornerstone*

We have fun, pray together, worship and study God’s word as it’s preached boldly in a way that points to Christ. We then break off into gospel-centered small groups where disciples are made and refined. Led by trained and committed adult leaders, our groups meet directly after the main teaching time with age and gender appropriate peers to foster community, accountability and friendships.

Students are challenged to rise out of adolescence into adulthood with their faith not only intact, but rooted so deeply in Christ and His Word that it shapes the way they see the world, in hopes that they go out and change it! Throughout the year we challenge and grow our students through partnerships with parents, special events, trips, retreats, serving opportunities, camp and more.

*During school calendar year. See summer schedule here

Student Led Small Groups meet weekly Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Supervised by adults but but student run, these small groups provide an avenue for continued growth and relationship building within the context of Biblically driven discipleship.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We want to do all we can to “pass the baton” of ministry to the next generation. We believe it is the job of the leaders to equip others for the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:12). There are opportunities to grow as servant leaders on our tech team, worship team, and connections team. We also train qualified students who have completed 9th grade to lead small groups on Sunday nights from 6-7:30pm. These groups read the Bible, pray, hold each other accountable and encourage each other to live like Christ.
